How we source, grade, and disclose.
Evidence grading
- Preclinical — Research is limited to in vitro (cell culture) and/or in vivo (animal model) studies. No peer-reviewed human clinical trials have been published. This is the most common grading for research peptides.
- Human Trials — At least one peer-reviewed clinical trial involving human subjects has been published. This does not imply regulatory approval or clinical recommendation — only that human data exists in the literature.
- Mixed — Available research includes both preclinical and early-stage human data, but evidence is inconsistent, limited in scope, or conflicting across studies.
Source standards
- Primary sources are peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in PubMed, Google Scholar, or equivalent academic databases.
- We do not cite manufacturer data sheets, promotional materials, blog posts, forums, or social media as evidence.
- Review articles may be cited for context, but the underlying primary studies are linked where possible.
- Preprint studies (not yet peer-reviewed) may be referenced but are clearly labelled as such.
- All references are linked directly in the article body and compiled in a References section at the end of each guide.
Writing principles
- Clarity over jargon. We translate the science, but we don’t strip the meaning. Key terms are defined in-line.
- Honesty about limits. If a study was in mice, we say mice. If a sample size was twelve, we say twelve.
- No therapeutic claims. We do not state that a compound “treats,” “cures,” or “prevents” any condition in humans unless a regulatory body has explicitly approved that indication.
- No dosing recommendations. Compounds discussed on this site are not approved for human use outside limited, specific indications. We do not provide protocols.
Disclosures and conflicts
Immortal Peps is an independent education platform. We do not sell compounds, accept sponsorship for coverage, or accept payment to influence rankings or sequencing.
Where any commercial or affiliate relationship exists, it is disclosed in plain language on the affected page. We do not link to compound suppliers from research articles. If a research article references a commercial source for educational context only, the link is marked with rel="nofollow sponsored".
Updates and corrections
Research evolves. When a study we cited is retracted, when a new Phase 3 trial changes the evidence picture, or when we identify an error in our own copy, we update the article. Material corrections are timestamped at the bottom of the page.
Reader feedback
If you’ve spotted an error, an out-of-date claim, or an unsupported statement, we want to hear about it. Contact the editorial team via the form on our contact page. Substantive corrections are credited unless the reporter requests otherwise.
